The Mildenhall Treasure (story)

The Mildenhall Treasure is a non-fiction work by Roald Dahl.

It tells the story of the discovery in 1946 near Mildenhall in Suffolk of the Mildenhall Treasure, now held in the British Museum.

It was first published in the Saturday Evening Post in the U.S. in 1946.[1] It was first published in book form in the story collection The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar and Six More in 1977.[2] It was published as a single title edition in 1999 by Jonathan Cape, with a newly commissioned cover illustration by Ralph Steadman.[3]
